Pathology and Pharmacology to create permanent medical images. This profession requires a dependable personality
with a mature and caring nature to ensure radiation protection, quality assurance, identify and manage emergency
situations, provide empathetic professional patient care.
Medical Radiology and Imaging services are offered in various settings such as Medical University, Medical
Institute, Medical College, Hospitals, Dental Clinics, industrial plants, Veterinary Hospital, and research
centers. Commercial sales and marketing positions are also available in the field.

Our college is the first institute under the government setup in Uttar Pradesh offering B.Sc. in Radiological and
Imaging Techniques. The Radiological & Imaging Technology department of Paramedical Vigyan Mahavidhyalay in
UPUMS Saifai training students, who were admitted from all over Uttar Pradesh, to provide highest accredited
educational and clinical experiences that will render qualified, patient focused, compassionate, critical
thinkers Medical Radiology and Imaging Technologist for the community.
The aim of our department is to provide a broad based education for preparation of Radiological Technologist/
Radiographer at both basic and advanced levels who can work in a wide variety of medical imaging setup and able
to lead the position to assume responsibilities in imaging technology in terms of image quality, Radiation
Protection, Professional behaviour with other health professional, patient and patient relatives. Our department
promote deeper study of Medical imaging Technology with a view to generate new horizon to strive to give
direction to Imaging Technology.
